Why BG Bears?
I sew anything and everything I can figure out how to sew. A few years back when I was home on Maternity leave with my 4 year old, I saw this woman on HGTV making teddy bears. I thought it was such a neat concept that I set out to create my own huggable, loveable bears. After a few years and over a dozen patterns, I finally perfected it and today I make custom-made bears to order. Each bear is hand-made by me with a lot of effort and love. The bears are $16each (that price does not include shipping). Each bear is hand cut, machine & hand-sewn, hand-stuffed, and stands about 13 inches tall. Depending on the age of the idividual receiving the bear they are adorned with button eyes and a bow around his/her neck. The nose is hand sewn on with high quality DMC embroidery floss in either black or brown...depending on the color material of the bear. I only use high-quality Minky Chenille fabric which makes the bears extra soft. Each bear is stuffed with poly-fiber pellats(for added weight) and hypo-allergenic stuffing.
